An online sensation, Khairul Aming, has successfully sold RM1.2 million worth of his latest product within a mere three minutes. This new product, known as “Dendeng Nyet Berapi”, was priced at RM14.90 per packet and managed to sell a remarkable 80,000 units in just three minutes and 39 seconds after it was launched on a Friday night, as reported by mStar.
Dendeng, which is a local delicacy, is a type of dried meat product. The impressive sales were conducted online through TikTok Shop Malaysia, with the live session accumulating over 3.3 million views.
Khairul Aming, also known as Khairul Amin Kamarulzaman, mentioned that this new product was introduced three years after his first product, “Sambal Nyet Berapi”, was initially sold. Furthermore, Khairul Aming was the main winner in the inaugural TikTok Awards MY 2023, where he clinched the “Creator Of The Year” award in the “People’s Choice” category through public voting.
