PUTRAJAYA: The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry will give immediate approval for complete applications made under the Subsidised Diesel Control System (SKDS), which covers 33 types of public and goods land transportation, says Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali.
The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister said, in a statement Sunday (June 23), that applications can be made via and approval letters will be issued immediately to enable successful transportation companies to apply for fleet cards from selected oil companies through the same system.
“Companies only need to fill in their information, and verification can be done immediately through integration with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) system. “Companies listed under the 33 eligible types of public and goods land transportation are advised to apply immediately,” he said.
Armizan added that approvals obtained until June 30 would allow transportation companies to claim reimbursement for subsidy expenditure rates through proof of purchase receipts until the transportation company receives the fleet card.
He also reminded companies that had been approved under the SKDS not to misuse the fleet cards provided for purposes other than the approved conditions.
