SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) — Frank Meng, the chairman of Qualcomm China, emphasized the significance of the close partnership between U.S. and Chinese business communities in enhancing the relationship between the two countries. Meng made these remarks during an interview with Xinhua on Thursday, during the APEC Leaders’ Week 2023 in San Francisco.
Meng pointed out that Qualcomm has been growing in China for the past 30 years, consistently partnering with Chinese companies to compete effectively in the global marketplace. He stressed that success is only attainable by supporting the success of partners and that Qualcomm values the cooperation environment and is committed to meeting halfway.
Furthermore, Meng expressed his aspiration to create a closely interconnected digital economy and a more connected world through the use of technology. He highlighted Qualcomm’s extensive collaboration with Chinese enterprises to foster technological advancement and the global launch of products.
Meng also mentioned that Qualcomm’s strategic cooperation in wireless communication has positioned the company as a front-runner in global competition.
Qualcomm, a San Diego-based industry leader in next-generation wireless technologies, established its presence in the Chinese market in the 1990s and has been elevating its business in China for nearly three decades.
