Islamic State has claimed responsibility for an attack on the Sayeda Zeinab shrine, located south of the Syrian capital, Damascus. The attack resulted in the loss of several lives and left numerous others injured.
The extremist group made the claim of responsibility through a statement posted on its Telegram channel.
