Japan PM Kishida to meet with fishermen's group on Monday afternoon – Jiji

TOKYO (Reuters) – Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is scheduled to meet with the head of a fishermen’s group on Monday afternoon, following his visit to the wrecked Fukushima nuclear power plant.

An announcement regarding the timing for the release of water from the plant is expected to be made soon. Kishida’s meeting with senior members of fishermen organizations aims to emphasize the safety of the treated water.
