The Minister of Transport, Anthony Loke, has encouraged people in Sabah’s Kudat district to participate in the MyLesen B2 (motorcycle) programme and obtain their motorcycle licences for free.
According to Loke, this programme aims to assist low-income motorcyclists in obtaining their licences and raise awareness about road safety.
Loke explained that the programme also aims to address the issue of people riding motorcycles without a licence. He made these statements after launching the MyLesen B2 Programme 2024 for Kudat on Jan 25.
Since its inception in 2010, a total of 14,098 Sabahans have benefited from the programme. Loke also mentioned that 40 series of the programme have been conducted so far, and there are plans to expand it to other parts of the state.
Loke further stated that the MyLesen B2 programme for Kudat was approved on Jan 12. He urged eligible individuals to take advantage of this opportunity.
One of the recipients, Masal Khan Azizahmad, 24, learned about the programme through social media and expressed his gratitude for the helpful initiative.
