KUALA LUMPUR: Former Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) student Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah, who was found murdered after being reported missing since July 10, was an exceptional student, with a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0, Malay language daily Sinar Harian reports.

In a post on her Facebook account, the deceased shared her final year results, showing A grades for her Industrial Training and Teaching Training 2 courses.

“The four-year struggle has ended. There were many challenges throughout this period of study but I was strong enough to endure. Thank you also to friends who were always there in difficult and easy times,” she wrote.

A screenshot of Nur Farah Kartini’s post was uploaded by a Facebook user using the handle Mohd Fadli on Tuesday (July 10).

“The determination to complete assignments and the Final Year Project (FYP) in the student lounge, even at the last minute, just to get the work done, so now we are ready to graduate. To my beloved mother, your daughter has grown up,” Nur Farah Kartini added in the post.

Earlier, it was reported that the mystery of Nur Farah Kartini’s disappearance was solved after her body was found in Felda Gedangsa, Kuala Kubu Baru, Hulu Selangor, believed to have been murdered.

On Monday (July 16), Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said that the police had arrested a 26-year-old local man who is also a civil servant.

The man, believed to be Nur Farah Kartini’s boyfriend, has since been remanded for seven days to help in investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
