OTTAWA (Reuters) – The leader of Canada’s left-leaning opposition New Democratic Party on Wednesday said he would not allow other political parties to decide when to bring down Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Jagmeet Singh made his comments to reporters when asked whether he would back an effort by the other two opposition parties to topple the ruling Liberals in parliament. Trudeau is safe as long as the New Democrats do not back such a bid.
