PETALING JAYA: Malaysia and Russia have demanded that Israel immediately stop violent and indiscriminate attacks on Gaza, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Prime Minister said Malaysia also respects Egypt’s move to channel humanitarian aid to the Gaza peninsula.
Anwar said Malaysia will use its ability to continue to speak out and support the Palestinian people’s struggle.
Anwar, who held a bilateral meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, said this during a press conference on Thursday (Sept 5).
The bilateral meeting was in conjunction with Anwar’s two-day working visit to Vladivostok, in which the Prime Minister will address the plenary session of the 9th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), later today.
