In an impressive display of skill, Malaysian men’s squash player Ng Eain Yow emerged victorious at the German Open by defeating Switzerland’s Dimitri Steinmann on Sunday (April 7).
Ranked 22 in the world, Eain Yow demonstrated great perseverance throughout the tournament and clinched the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Bronze level event title with a scoreline of 12-10, 11-8, 10-12, 11-3, in a match lasting 66 minutes.
This encounter marked only the second time Eain Yow faced off against the world No. 34 Swiss player, with their previous meeting taking place at the World Championships in 2017.
Securing victory in Hamburg, Eain Yow added another accolade to his resume, claiming his seventh PSA Tour title since his triumph at the Irish Open in April of the previous year.
