HANGZHOU, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) — The medal table for the 19th Asian Games on Saturday shows the current standings of each team. The table includes the number of gold, silver, and bronze medals won, as well as the total number of medals won.
China is currently leading the competition with a total of 382 medals, including 200 gold, 111 silver, and 71 bronze medals. Japan is in second place with a total of 186 medals, followed closely by South Korea with 190 medals. India and Uzbekistan are also performing well, securing 107 and 71 medals respectively.
Chinese Taipei, Iran, Thailand, Bahrain, and DPR Korea complete the top 10 of the medal table with their respective medal counts. Kazakhstan, Hong Kong-China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Vietnam, Mongolia, Kuwait, Tajikistan, Macao-China, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Jordan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Brunei, Nepal, Oman, Laos, Bangladesh, Iraq, Cambodia, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria are also represented on the medal table with their respective medal counts.
