PETALING JAYA: The founder and CEO of the Chinese technology company Meitu Inc, Wu Xinhong, will be in Malaysia to share his insights on the latest trends in key technological sectors.
The technopreneur will deliver his speech as the keynote speaker during the World Fujian Convention Forum on Nov 8.
This year’s forum is organised by the Federation of Hokkien Associations of Malaysia and supported by various industry associations and business leaders.
“He will share his insights on the latest trends in key technological sectors, particularly focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on the future of smart small business services.
“Wu’s address is anticipated to provide valuable perspectives on how businesses can leverage AI to enhance efficiency and stay competitive in the evolving market,” said the federation in a statement on Friday (Oct 18).
Meitu is a comprehensive picture service platform, with headquarters in Xiamen, Fujian. Besides the keynote speech, the event will also see a special session titled “Blueprint for Semiconductor Development”, which will delve into the crucial role of the Fujian diaspora in driving the growth of the tech and semiconductor industries, as well as other key economic sectors.
Held at the KL Convention Centre, this year’s event is the first in-person gathering since the pandemic.
A pivotal event for the Fujian diaspora, the forum is expected to gather over 3,200 participants, including business elites, experts, and dignitaries from different regions.
