In Mexico City, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador announced on Friday his intention to propose a constitutional reform aimed at prohibiting the consumption of synthetic drugs such as fentanyl.
The Biden administration in the United States has been urging Mexico to allocate more resources in order to help reduce the flow of fentanyl, a highly potent and addictive synthetic opioid, into the U.S.
