In Mexico City, Pemex, the state energy company, reported on Saturday that a fire occurred at a platform in the Gulf of Mexico. The company stated that emergency protocols were activated and the situation was contained, however, two of its employees were injured during the incident.
Pemex also announced that seven workers from other companies sustained injuries as a result of the fire on the platform.
