In the U.S. Grand Prix held in Austin, Texas, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, a triple world champion, managed to fend off Lewis Hamilton’s attack and secure his 50th win in Formula One.
Hamilton, driving for Mercedes, finished in second place, while Lando Norris from McLaren took third place at the Circuit of the Americas.
With this triumph, Verstappen has now won three consecutive races in Austin and 15 out of the 18 races held this year. This feat matches the record he set last year for the most victories in a single season, and with four races remaining this season, he has equaled the record with ease. Verstappen is a 26-year-old Dutch driver.
Red Bull has been dominant throughout the season, along with Verstappen, and as a result, they have already clinched both the constructors’ and drivers’ championships.
