In a recent Instagram post, Nooryana Najwa Najib, daughter of Datuk Seri Najib Razak, shared a heartfelt message and a photo of her father.
The post, accompanied by the song “Fix You” by Coldplay, included the words “Always waiting for your return, however long it takes” as a dedication to her father, the former prime minister of Malaysia.
Notably, Nooryana is a member of Wanita Umno’s executive committee.
At present, Najib is awaiting the decision from the Pardons Board regarding the outcome of his royal pardon appeal.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa advised the public to be patient and wait for the official statement from the Pardons Board.
Additionally, she mentioned that an official statement will be released in due time, although she did not specify when.
These comments were made by Zaliha, who is also a member of the Pardons Board, to reporters after the opening ceremony of Federal Territories Day and Putrajaya Open Day 2024 in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday (Feb 1).
