Over 100,000 individuals participated in the National Day 2023 celebration held at Dataran Putrajaya on Thursday (Aug 31), marking the first celebration organized by the unity government, as stated by Fahmi Fadzil,
The Minister of Communications and Digital expressed his satisfaction with the successful execution of the celebration, particularly highlighting the flawless dance performances, parade, and aerial display.
He also extended his gratitude and appreciation to all parties involved in contributing their efforts and ideas to ensure the success of this historic event.
Fahmi Fadzil, who chaired the National Day and Malaysia Day 2023 Celebration main committee, mentioned that some attendees had started gathering at the venue after Maghrib prayers on Wednesday (Aug 30) night due to their excitement to be part of such a vibrant occasion.
He added that many individuals traveled from regions such as Kedah, Perak, and even further to personally witness this significant celebration. He also acknowledged the hard work put in by the unity government’s team since February.
