A retiree on a unicycle attracted the attention of the crowd before the National Day 2023 celebrations in Putrajaya. The 58-year-old, Jeffrey Tan, captured the interest of numerous visitors who eagerly took pictures and videos of him riding effortlessly around the outskirts of the National Day parade. Tan’s unicycle was particularly eye-catching as it was adorned with blue, red, and white lights, resembling the Malaysian flag. Tan mentioned that he personally installed the lights on the unicycle after purchasing it for approximately RM2,000 a few years ago.
Tan, who resides in Ampang, arrived at the parade location at 6am and expressed his joy at the overwhelming enthusiasm displayed by his fellow Malaysians towards his patriotic attire. Having attended almost every single National Day parade in recent decades, Tan continues to develop a deep sense of patriotism. He expressed his appreciation for the passion shared by many Malaysians towards their country.
