VILNIUS (Reuters) – NATO leaders have reached an agreement on how to define their future relationship with Ukraine, including the country’s bid for membership, according to four diplomats on Tuesday.
One of the diplomats stated that the final wording of the declaration pertaining to Ukraine’s future membership states that NATO “will have the ability to extend an invitation to join the Alliance when Allies reach a consensus and the necessary conditions are fulfilled.”
