Apple will no longer include its iconic logo stickers in the iPhone box.

Website 9to5Mac first reported last week that it has sighted a messaging distributed to Apple Store teams that the new iPhone 16 models will not come with the Apple logo stickers in the box.

It added that the stickers will only be available upon request from an Apple Store.

YouTuber Marques Brownlee has seemingly confirmed the report in a new iPhone 16 and 16 pro unboxing video.

“There are no stickers included in the iPhone 16 box at all. Truly the end of an era. They can’t stop removing things, they can’t help themselves,” he said, adding that Apple has also stopped offering the SIM card tool with last year’s model.

Apple has reportedly bundled some of its products with stickers since 1977.

Viewers on Brownlee’s video has slammed Apple’s decision to remove the stickers, with @Trashy9-_-9 claiming that “it will down as in history as the beginning of Apple’s downfall” while @brakettech joked that the company might start selling the stickers for US$199 (RM848).

When contacted, an operator through the Apple TRX customer service hotline said customers can get the Apple logo stickers upon request in the store.

The operator added that the stickers will only be available at the Apple TRX store which is located in Kuala Lumpur.

9to5Mac in its initial report added that Apple logo stickers were also not included in the Apple Vision Pro released in February and new iPad Pro and iPad Air models which came out in May.

Back in 2020, Apple removed the charger and wired headphones from iPhone 12 boxes, stating that the move will help the company reach its goal towards achieving net zero carbon impact by 2030.

The new iPhone 16, available starting Sept 20, is priced from RM3,999.
