According to Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin on X, formerly known as Twitter, there was an attack in central Paris that resulted in one person dead and another injured. The assailant was apprehended by the police near Quai de Grenelle. The deceased person and the injured person were attended to by the Paris fire brigade. The minister urged the public to avoid the area of the attack.
