Drivers using the North-South Expressway between Simpang Pulai and Gopeng are being urged to plan their journeys in advance.
A spokesperson for A PLUS Malaysia Bhd has announced that the stretch between KM291.4 and KM296.4 southbound of the expressway will be closed in phases for road resurfacing works from Jan 22 to Feb 7.
“The road resurfacing works will be carried out progressively at the specified location on weekdays during the mentioned period,” he said in a statement, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing the safety and comfort of highway users.
During this time, each lane will be opened periodically as soon as the resurfacing works are completed.
Drivers are encouraged to plan their journeys using the PLUS App to get the most up-to-date traffic information and to follow all traffic signs and instructions in the affected area,” he added.
