In SEREMBAN, Datuk Eddin Syazlee Shith, the former Negri Sembilan Perikatan Nasional chief and Kuala Pilah MP, has been named the coalition’s state adviser. This decision was made by the newly appointed state Perikatan chief, Mohamad Hanifah Abu Baker, during a recent meeting of the state liaison committee.
Mohamad Hanifah expressed gratitude to former state Perikatan chief Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu for his contributions, while also announcing the appointment of a vice chairman from each component party in the state Perikatan leadership. Perikatan is composed of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, PAS, and Gerakan.
Additionally, Mohamad Hanifah, who is a Labu assemblyman, revealed that Muhammad Noraffendy Mohd Salleh had been appointed state secretary, and Zaharuddin Baba Samion was appointed state information chief. Notably, Muhammad Noraffendy had contested for the Jempol parliamentary seat in the last general election, while Zaharuddin stood in Jelebu.
Furthermore, Danni Rais, the son of former Dewan Negara Speaker Tan Sri Rais Yatim, who had contested the Klawang state seat, was appointed Youth chief, and Masita Mohd Ali was made State Wanita chief.
