LIMA (Reuters) – Peruvian prime minister, Gustavo Adrianzen, said on Tuesday that the prosecutor’s office has “definitively” shelved genocide case against president Dina Boluarte.
The case was started following protests that left dozens dead at the beginning of Boluarte’s government. Boluarte is still facing investigations for homicide and serious bodily harm during the protests.
