Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced on Monday that discussions regarding maritime collaboration between the Philippines and Vietnam will be a key element in the establishment of a strategic partnership between the two Southeast Asian countries.
Marcos is embarking on a two-day state visit to Vietnam, during which he will engage with top officials in Hanoi and focus on negotiating agreements pertaining to coastguard cooperation and rice supply.
