KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will give his inaugural National Day Perdana address on August 30th, 2023. The address will be delivered at the Plenary Hall, Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) at 2pm.
The National Day Perdana address by Anwar will be broadcasted live on local channels such as Bernama TV and Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM). Additionally, it will also be streamed on the official Facebook accounts of both the Prime Minister and the Communications and Digital Ministry.
With the theme ‘Malaysia Madani: Tekad Perpaduan, Penuhi Harapan’ (Determination in Unity, Fulfiling Hope), the 2023 National Day celebration will take place in Putrajaya. Previously, the National Day celebration has been held in Putrajaya four times, namely in 2003, 2005, 2018 and 2019.
The parade tomorrow will involve ten different contingents, each representing various sectors such as Nationhood, Malaysia Madani Unity, Economy, Banking, Telecommunications, Creative and Broadcasting Industry, Community, National Sports, National Well-being, and Security.
