PETALING JAYA: A set of car keys have been recovered by police divers in the ongoing search for evidence behind the murder of Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah.

According to Bernama, the keys were found by the police at around 11.20am, some 50 metres from a bridge that is believed to be the location where the suspect had thrown away her belongings.

Five divers were seen performing the search, with a radius of around 300 meters.

Earlier Monday (July 22), the remand order for a 26-year-old policeman linked to the murder was extended for seven more days.

The order, for the extension of the remand until July 29, was issued by Judge Nurul Mardhiah Mohammed Redza following an application by the police at the Kuala Kubu Baru Magistrate’s Court.

Nur Farah Kartini, 25, was reported missing on July 10 before her body was found in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Sri Kledang, Hulu Selangor, at about 6pm on July 15.
