PETALING JAYA: The Transport Minister, Anthony Loke, has announced that the preliminary report on the Beechcraft Premier 1 plane crash in Shah Alam on August 17 will be released on Friday, September 15. The report will include the findings from the flight recorder analysis for a duration of approximately 30 minutes, specifically focusing on the “memory puck” within the cockpit recorder of the aircraft.
“We will release the preliminary report on Friday,” stated Loke during a news conference at the DAP Women Congress in Klang, which he attended on September 9.
The tragic incident occurred on August 17 at 2:50 pm, resulting in the deaths of ten individuals, including Datuk Seri Johari Harun, the Pahang housing, environment, and green technology committee chairman. Additionally, two individuals on the ground, namely 32-year-old p-hailing rider Muhammad Hafiz Muhammad Salleh and 51-year-old e-hailing driver Sharipudin Shaari, lost their lives in the accident as they were passing by the area.
Further details and information regarding the preliminary report will be disclosed upon its release on Friday.
