Understanding the importance of keeping up with the times, the Royal Malaysia Police are active on social media.

With their dedication and heroic deeds constantly being shared, it is no surprise that many young Malaysians are interested in joining the men and women in blue.

But have the police turned to TikTok to draft recruits?

    Verdict:

    FALSE

According to the police recruitment unit’s Facebook page, they do not advertise for recruits on TikTok. It also shared a list of fake recruitment advertisements it has found on TikTok.

“Don’t be fooled. People are advised to ignore viral messages on social media for job offers in the police department,” it said in a post.

It recommends that those interested in joining the Royal Malaysia Police get the latest recruitment news from the recruitment unit’s official Facebook, Instagram, and Telegram channels.
