An incident involving a car ramming into a motorcycle is believed to have occurred after the car driver attempted to drive away following an argument with his wife, as shown in the viral clip circulating on social media. Acting Gombak district police chief Supt Noor Ariffin Mohamad said the suspect was detained following the incident and investigations indicated that the events in the video took place on Jalan Tun Teja 3, Taman Tun Teja, Rawang, at 3:30 pm. The car driver was fleeing from his wife after an argument, and the victim, who sustained minor injuries, attempted to stop the driver but was instead rammed by the car.
The victim sustained injuries on the elbow, hand, and leg. The case is being investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder and Section 337 of the same Code for causing injury by a reckless act endangering the life or safety of others.
