Road accidents can be extremely stressful, especially if people believe the accident was not their fault. A recent viral video showed two people fighting at an intersection, supposedly after a traffic accident in Semenyih, Selangor. But is this claim true?

In a statement on Facebook, Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan confirmed that the fight did occur at a traffic light junction in Pelangi, Semenyih, as a result of a road accident. A car had collided with a school van that was carrying several students.
ACP Mohd Zaid emphasized that a police report had been filed by a 63-year-old man who claimed to have sustained stomach, chin, and other body injuries when allegedly attacked by two men at the time of the accident. Subsequently, two men aged 26 and 43 were arrested and confessed to the attack.
“The two were upset that the complainant ran a red light, leading to the accident,” said ACP Mohd Zaid. The case is now being investigated under Section 323 and Section 506 of the Penal Code.
