There is a recent case of alleged bullying that has gained attention on social media, involving a video showing a teenager being attacked next to a football field.

The incident reportedly took place in Taman Puteri Wangsa in Ulu Tiram, Johor, and the victim is said to be a 17-year-old.

However, is the video actually from a recent event as claimed?

    VERDICT:

    FALSE

Police have confirmed that the incident is not recent, as it actually took place on May 14 last year.

A report was filed on the same day of the incident, according to authorities.

Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Raub Selamat stated that the altercation involving the boy occurred near a shack close to the field.
