WHEN it comes to the chance to win prizes, many would not think twice at jumping at the chance if the opportunity is offered by a retail giant.
With that said, it would be also fair to say that unscrupulous people or groups would impersonate these companies on social media to lure the unwary.
Recently, it was claimed online that retail giant Aeon is being impersonated on social media.

Aeon issued a warning about this on its official Facebook page, saying that an account named AEON’ Malaysia is misleading customers with fake offers of prizes.
“Please be aware that this page is not associated with Aeon and is a scam. For any inquiries contact us through our official Aeon Retail Malaysia channels at 1300-88-AEON (2366) or email us at [email protected],” it said in the post.
