Finding a dead body can be a horrifying experience for anyone. Social media posts have gone viral, claiming that residents of a town in Sarawak recently had such an encounter.
So, is it true? Was the lifeless body of an unidentified man really discovered beneath a dock in Saratok, Sarawak?

According to a report by mStar, Saratok OCPD Deputy Supt Mordani Tani confirmed the incident. Residents did discover the lifeless body under a dock on the banks of the Krian River in Saratok.
The body was found fully clothed and adorned with tattoos on the back, legs, and left arm.
“The body has been sent to Saratok Hospital for a post-mortem examination,” stated DSP Saratok. “At present, the case is classified as a Sudden Death Incident, and investigations are underway.”
DSP Saratok urged the public to refrain from speculating on the matter in order to maintain peace and allow the police to conduct their investigations without interference.
He also appealed to anyone who may have information about the victim or the incident to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigations by contacting the nearest police station.
