Acts of violence often shock and spread rapidly through news outlets, capturing the attention of many. A recent claim circulating online alleged that a man was brutally killed by multiple assailants at a coffee shop near Kulim, Kedah. Is there truth to this disturbing incident?

Deputy Superintendent Safuan Md Noor of the Kulim OCPD confirmed the incident, stating that a 27-year-old man was viciously attacked by two individuals wielding machetes and sickles at a coffee shop in Padang Serai near Kulim.
“In an attempt to escape from his assailants, the victim sought refuge in the coffee shop only to be mercilessly hacked until he collapsed and succumbed to his injuries inside the establishment,” said DSP Safuan.
“The victim sustained severe wounds on his hands, chest, back, and face. His body was transferred to Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Setar for further examination,” added the Deputy Superintendent.
The police are actively investigating the case and are diligently working to identify and apprehend the two suspects linked to the heinous crime.
The motive behind this brutal attack is still being looked into, and the case has been classified under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, DSP Safuan mentioned.
