A video that has gone viral on social media highlights the importance of being cautious while getting into an elevator, especially when accompanied by suspicious individuals.
In this 32-second video, a young man is seen being physically assaulted by a helmet-wearing person inside an elevator.

Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat, the South OCPD of Johor Baru, confirmed receiving a police report regarding this incident.
He further stated that a man has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a teenage victim.
In a statement released on October 18, ACP Raub mentioned that the victim, a 14-year-old boy, filed a police report on October 15 around 5:25pm after being robbed by the helmet-wearing culprit inside an elevator.
“Subsequently, based on the report, the police conducted a raid on an apartment and apprehended the suspect. Additionally, we seized a mobile phone, a pair of shoes, and a pair of jeans from him,” added ACP Raub.
“The suspect has a criminal record which includes three drug-related offenses,” he stated, and also noted that the suspect tested positive for morphine.
Raub Selamat revealed that the case is being investigated under Section 392 of the Penal Code, which pertains to robbery.
