A video clip recently circulated on Telegram, depicting a group of armed individuals vandalizing a residence.
The video shows approximately six men wielding sharp objects and steel pipes entering the compound of a home and causing destruction.
Reports indicated that this incident occurred in Sarawak. Can this be confirmed as true?

In a statement released on Thursday (Feb 8), Padawan OCPD Supt Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad verified that the incident took place at a residence on Jalan Batu Kawan in Kuching.
He mentioned that the police received a report of the incident from a female complainant on Sunday (Feb 4) and that there were no reported injuries.
“The motive is still under investigation,” he added.
The case is currently under investigation under Section 148 of the Penal Code for rioting with weapons and Section 427 of the same code for causing damage and mischief.
A conviction for the first offense carries a penalty of imprisonment up to five years, a fine, or both, while for the second offense, the penalty is imprisonment for two years, a fine, or both.
Supt Abang Zainal Abidin mentioned that the district criminal investigation division apprehended one of the suspects, a 20-year-old man, on Wednesday (Feb 7).
He stated that the suspect would be presented in a Kuching court on Thursday for a remand order while police intensified their search for the man’s accomplices.
The investigation also involves the state D7 (vice, gambling, and secret societies prevention) division of the Criminal Investigation Department, he added.
