WE tend to get cravings at the oddest times for sweet treats, and the trend of dessert shops open till late at night is a boon for such moments.
However, one person walked into an ice cream shop at close to midnight with decidedly unsavoury intentions.
In a 2-minute-36-seconds video making the rounds on social media, a woman is seen being stabbed during what appears to be an attempted robbery.
It is said that the incident occurred in an ice cream shop in Shah Alam.
Did this really happen?

In a statement on Tuesday (Aug 13), Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the incident occurred in Taman Sri Muda.
A 21-year-old woman was working alone in the shop at 11.30pm on Monday (Aug 12) when a man walked in wearing a facemask and armed with a penknife.
Bernama reports that the suspect then tried to rob the woman, resulting in a struggle that left the victim injured from multiple stab wounds.
“The victim was treated at Hospital Shah Alam and allowed to go home at 1am on Tuesday (Aug 13).
“Based on the information received so far, there were no losses reported by the victim or the shop where she works,” he said.
ACP Mohd Iqbal said the suspect’s face could be seen in CCTV footage, and efforts to track him down were ongoing.
The case is being investigated under Section 394 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt in the commission of a robbery.
