The dashcam footage led to the arrest of two suspected robbers in Taiping, which has been confirmed as true by the police. The suspects, aged 37 and 47, were arrested at a house in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, and the police also confiscated a red car suspected to be a clone car along with burglary tools, mobile phones, women’s handbags, and foreign currency.
Taiping District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Razlam Ab Hamid, stated that the police started investigating the break-in that occurred at a home in Taman Bukit Mas on Tuesday (Jan 2). Both suspects had past criminal records in crime and drugs in 2017, and the police are still tracking another friend of theirs who was involved in the incident.

Footage of the two suspects fleeing in the red Honda City car was captured on the vehicle’s dashboard camera before it went viral on social media, particularly on Facebook. The police confirmed the arrest of the two suspects involved in the break-in at Taman Bukit Mas home in Taiping on Saturday (Jan 6).
