JOHOR BARU: PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli refutes claims that a minister from his party will be dropped from the Cabinet soon.

Rafizi, who is also the Economy Minister, said the allegations were old tactics to undermine the government and its efforts in developing the country.

“This is an old tactic to attack the government while we focus on more important things for the country.

“When the political polemic is as such, it will be difficult for us to do what is important.

“My advice is to not entertain these people,” he told the press when met after attending an “Ask Minister Anything” event here.

He added that there are no issues within the party whatsoever.

“In fact, in the 25 years that I have been in PKR, this is the strongest and most stable the party has been,” he said.

He said this in response to a question on whether a minister from PKR would be dropped from the Cabinet as reported in a portal, citing sources.

The portal also reported that there will be a Cabinet reshuffle in August with some deputy ministers being promoted to ministers.
