Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd has announced that it will be offering free feeder bus services to two temples in Selangor and Penang in honor of Thaipusam on Thursday (Jan 25).
The two temples that will be served by Rapid Bus are the Sri Subramaniar Swamy Temple in Batu Caves, Selangor and the Arulmigu Balathandayuthapani Temple on Jalan Kebun Bunga, Penang.
In Kuala Lumpur, the service will be in operation from 5am on Jan 24 until midnight on Jan 26, with buses running every 10 to 15 minutes. The routes covered will be BC02 (Central Market Bus Hub to Batu Caves), BC03 (Gombak LRT Station to Batu Caves), and BC04 (Kg Batu MRT Station to Batu Caves).
For the Penang service, buses will run from midnight on Jan 24 until 2am on Jan 26, with a frequency of 20 to 30 minutes, and then hourly from 1 am to 5 am. The route covered will be ST01 (Jetty-Adventist via Arulmigu Balathandayuthapani Temple, Jalan Kebun Bunga).
