India successfully landed on the moon’s south pole on Wednesday, making it the fourth country to achieve this feat. The Indian Space Research Organisation’s Chandrayaan-3 was responsible for the historic touchdown.

S. SOMANATH, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), expressed his excitement, declaring, “India is on the moon.”
NARENDRA MODI, the Prime Minister of India, hailed the accomplishment as a victory cry for the new India.
MALLIKARJUN KHARGE, the President of the Congress party, regarded the success of Chandrayaan-3 as a collective achievement for every Indian. He noted that today’s achievement adds to India’s remarkable six-decade-long space program.
JOSEF ASCHBACHER, Director General of the European Space Agency, also congratulated ISRO and the people of India on their incredible achievement. He commended the demonstration of new technologies and India’s first soft landing on another celestial body.
