In Kyiv, Ukraine, Agriculture Minister Mykola Solsky revealed that a significant amount of grain export facilities at Chornomorsk port in Odesa have been damaged due to an attack by Russia. The assault also resulted in the destruction of 60,000 tons of grain that should have been shipped through the Black Sea Grain Initiative two months ago, Solsky shared on the Telegram messaging app.
According to Solsky, the nighttime attack rendered a significant portion of the grain export infrastructure in the port of Chornomorsk inoperative. This aggression by Russia occurred following their withdrawal from an agreement on Monday that allowed the safe passage of Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea.
Ukraine firmly believes that this was a deliberate and calculated attack on the grain terminals and port infrastructure in Odesa and Chornomorsk.
