(Reuters) – Ukraine’s Kharkiv experienced around 15 blasts on Friday morning, as reported by mayor Ihor Terekhov. Russian missile strikes seemed to be focused on the city’s power supply, leading to partial blackouts. Terekhov confirmed that there were no casualties, but some water pumps had ceased functioning due to the attacks.
In central Ukraine, Kryvyi Rih’s mayor Oleksandr Vilkul also mentioned hearing blasts in the city, although specific details were not provided. Additionally, the administration of Zaporizhzhia, a city in southern Ukraine, disclosed that eight missile strikes had occurred. Ukrainian officials further revealed that several Russian missiles were still en route to their targets within the country.
