(Reuters) – According to the local governor, Russian missiles hit an industrial site in Kremenchuk, Ukraine, causing a fire on Saturday. Filip Pronin, the governor of the Poltava region, communicated via the Telegram messaging app that two Russian ballistic missiles had struck the target in the city.
Images shared online depicted emergency crews combatting a blaze, but Pronin did not provide any details regarding casualties. In Zaporizhzhia region, which is further southeast, local governor Yuri Malashko reported that an infrastructure site had been targeted in a drone attack.
Emergency crews were present at the site, but Malashko did not specify the extent of the damage or any potential casualties.
