Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has announced the opening of a second service centre in Yong Peng in order to better serve the constituents. The MCA president revealed the establishment of the new service centre following Barisan Nasional’s success in regaining the Yong Peng state seat in the 2022 Johor state election. Dr Wee took to Facebook to share the news on Monday (Jan 15).
In his post, Dr Wee said, “I am working from the Ayer Hitam parliamentary and Yong Peng assemblyman’s second service centre in Taman BCB, Yong Peng, this afternoon. Since my first service centre, located at No. 54, Jalan Templer, Yong Peng (opposite Yong Peng post office), is often frequented by constituents, a second service centre with a larger space and more conducive environment has allowed my team and Ah Soon’s (Yong Peng assemblyman Ling Tian Soon) team to provide better services to the people.”
He also shared photos of himself interacting with constituents at the second service centre. A Facebook post by Dr Wee featuring his visit to the new service centre was embedded into the article.
