The search is on for a man accused of recording a woman inside a Target dressing room, California police say.
As the woman was trying on clothes at a Buena Park Target the morning of July 19, she saw someone was holding a cellphone “under the dressing room door” recording her, Buena Park police said in a July 23 bulletin shared to Facebook.
“The safety and security of our guests is our top priority,” a Target spokesperson said in a July 24 email to McClatchy News, adding that the company is working with law enforcement.
The woman confronted the man and “chased him as he ran from the store,” police said.
He then drove away in a small blue SUV, which looked “similar to a Honda CRV,” according to police.
The man, who has black and gray hair, is described as standing 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds, according to police. At the time of the incident, he was wearing glasses, a gray shirt and “black athletic pants.”
