Tottenham Hotspur’s Bethany England scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over bottom side Bristol City, becoming only the second player after Arsenal’s Vivianne Miedema to reach 70 goals in the WSL. Spurs currently sit in sixth place with 25 points, while Bristol City continues to struggle with only six points to their name.
The Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool ended in a goalless draw, leaving Liverpool in fourth place with 29 points, just one point ahead of Manchester United. Arsenal, who are in third place with 34 points, are set to face Aston Villa in the late Sunday game.
