(Reuters) – Chelsea’s Australian forward Sam Kerr has sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury while at the side’s warm weather training camp in Morocco, as per the Women’s Super League club’s announcement on Sunday.
Kerr has managed an average of nearly 30 goals in the previous two seasons for Chelsea. The team currently sits at the top of the WSL table with a three-point lead over Manchester City.
