In an exciting LaLiga match, Alexander Sorloth and Jose Luis Morales scored in added time to secure a thrilling 5-3 victory for Villarreal against Barcelona.
Villarreal initially took a 2-0 lead with goals from Gerard Moreno in the 41st minute and Ilias Akhomach in the 54th minute. However, Barcelona fought back with quick goals from Ilkay Gundogan, Pedri, and an own goal from Eric Bailly within a span of 11 minutes.
Goncarlo Guedes later equalized for Villarreal in the 84th minute, taking advantage of a fast counter-attack. With Barcelona pushing for a winner, the team was vulnerable and Sorloth and Morales capitalized on this vulnerability to secure the win.
Following this result, Barcelona is currently sitting in third place in the standings with 44 points, trailing leaders Real Madrid by 10 points and second-placed Girona by eight points.
